All programs require that you submit an online application through ApplyTexas.
College Transcripts – Send unofficial copies of all transcripts to the Texas Tech Graduate School at firstname.lastname@example.org. The transcripts must be in PDF format and no larger than 2 MB. Multiple attachments per email will be accepted. Grade reports or unofficial transcripts from university web portals will not be accepted. Please redact the Social Security Number anywhere it appears on your transcript. If documents are written in a language other than English, a copy of a complete and official English translation must be provided with the original language records.
* Official transcripts will be required during your first semester if you are admitted to your desired program.

The Ed.D. program requires official GRE scores. Scores must no more than 5 years old at the time of application. Official GRE scores must be sent from Educational Testing Services (ETS) to the Texas Tech Graduate School. To register for the examination please visit the GRE Testing website. Texas Tech University’s code is 6827.

Continuous enrollment, students may begin coursework during any semester.
Estimated Hours to Completion
The master’s degree consists of 39 hours of coursework.
The Ed.D. consists of 93 hours of coursework.
Allowable Transfer Hours
Master’s – up to 6 hours, at the discretion of the advisor
Doctorate – up to 30 hours, at the discretion of the advisor
